Hello! I'm Paolo and I'm from Italy, from Puglia to be precise. Why is someone coming from one of the flattest region in Italy so passionate about mountains? Good question...I also don't know. Anyway, with this blog I just to share with you my experiences. You might notice that my reports are not always really technical (go right, go straight for 128m, climb the 85° wall for 2m and...). My idea is to write something that is at the same time a description of the route, and the "stream of consciousness" in my head while moving on that route. I want to share thoughts and ideas, but also routes and pictures hoping that someone finds them useful. From time to time I might also post a review of a piece of gear, again because I think these sort of things are very useful. Personally, I'm the first one that looks on the internet for some reviews before buying something or before attempting a certain route. Sometimes, I might even publish just some thought off the top of my head...you know, just free ideas.
Some of my blogs are in Italian, other in English. There is no specific rule based on which I will choose one or the other language. However, if one of the post you see is of your interest but is not in the language you understand, feel free to add a comment and I will provide a translation in English.

Ciao! Sono Paolo e vengo da un paesino vicino Bari. Come mai uno che viene da una delle regioni piu' piatte d'Italia è appassionato di montagna? Bella domanda...non lo so. Comunque, con questo blog voglio solo condividere con voi le mie esperienze. I miei rapporti o relazioni non sono quasi mai troppo tecnici. Certo ci possono essere delle descrizioni o dei dati utili, ma la mia idea è quello di scrivere altro. Voglio scrivere una descrizione della via, e una cronaca dei miei pensieri nell'affrontare quella via. Con questo blog condivido pensieri ed idee, ma anche descrizioni di vie e fotografie nella speranza che possano essere utili a qualcuno. Alle volte posso anche pubblicare delle recensioni di pezzi di equipaggiamento, o anche pensieri che mi affollano la mente in quel momento.
Noterete anche che alcuni post sono in Inglese...ma non c'è una regola per la decisione della lingua. Comunque, se il post che vedete è Inglese, ma vi interessa leggerlo, fatemelo sapere in un commento e provvedero' alla traduzione.
